Los Angeles-based AGA Hotels, founded by AAHOA Member Armaan Patel, sponsored a youth baseball team right before the 2023 season kicked off about a month ago. AGA Hotels equipped each player with brand-new baseball bags as a part of the hotel’s commitment to making organized sports accessible to low-income families. The team consists of players ages 11 and 12 who compete in baseball games at different locations throughout Los Alamitos, CA. Patel coined the phrase “Home Run Hospitality!” as a part of his efforts to help the younger generation dream big and make those dreams come true. “I believed in this baseball team and wanted to help the families struggling to provide new bags to their kids,” Patel shared. “These kids will not only get to play but also learn valuable life skills and experience the benefits of physical activity and teamwork.” It is no surprise that at only 19 years old, Patel takes the initiative to help others. In 2022, he received the Outstanding Young Professional Hoteliers of the Year Award, which recognizes hoteliers under the age of 30 who has exemplified the spirit, dedication, and achievement of a professional hotelier.
